You will design realistic feature implementation, debugging, and bug-fix scenarios, then build verifiers that accept reasonable valid solutions and reject solutions that fail the specifications. The work requires sound judgment across code quality, performance, automated testing, refactoring, algorithms, data structures, scalable services, and secure coding practices where relevant. - Create realistic backend coding tasks - Build deterministic verifiers for programming challenges - Distinguish valid solutions from invalid solutions - Apply backend engineering and code review judgment What You'll Do You will develop tasks that reflect practical backend engineering work, including feature development, debugging, and bug fixes. Your verifiers should evaluate solutions consistently and reflect the stated specifications rather than relying on subjective review. You will also assess implementation quality and technical tradeoffs across performance, scalability, testing, maintainability, and security. - Design feature implementation and bug-fix scenarios for backend systems - Implement verifiers that reliably test solution correctness - Evaluate algorithms, data structures, and scalable service behavior - Identify bottlenecks and consider performance optimization - Apply automated testing and refactoring practices - Use secure coding and security review techniques when relevant Requirements Strong backend development experience is required in Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, C++, or a similar language.
