Job Summarymicro1 is engaging Bankruptcy Attorneys to contribute their specialized legal expertise to a customer's innovative project focused on bankruptcy law. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents related to bankruptcy law, providing expert feedback and substantive commentary. Draft sample motions, pleadings, and court filings reflecting common and complex bankruptcy scenarios. Evaluate hypothetical legal scenarios and provide well-reasoned written explanations and legal arguments. Create and contribute to educational content and training datasets relevant to bankruptcy practice. Evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, and alignment with current U.S. bankruptcy law. Identify legal nuances, ambiguities, and emerging trends in bankruptcy law to improve AI-generated outputs. Collaborate remotely with project teams through written and verbal communication to ensure accurate and high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active license to practice law in the United States.3–15 years of recent, hands-on experience practicing bankruptcy law in the United States. Direct experience handling bankruptcy matters, including filings, court appearances, and legal advisory work. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to explain complex bankruptcy concepts clearly and concisely. Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver high-quality legal work with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Preferred Qualifications Judicial clerkship experience, particularly with a bankruptcy or federal judge. Experience teaching law, including adjunct or guest lecturing, or developing legal instructional materials. Editorial experience with a law review or legal journal during law school. Experience evaluating legal content, developing legal rubrics, or contributing to AI training or evaluation projects. Familiarity with emerging developments and trends in U.S. bankruptcy law. Job Type: Contract Pay: $90.00 - $150.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote
