Job Summarymicro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to engage PhD-level professionals for high-impact AI training and evaluation projects that require deep subject-matter expertise. Whether your background is in a technical STEM discipline or the humanities, such as English, literature, or journalism, you'll apply research-grade rigor to evaluate and improve AI model reasoning and performance.
Scope of Work Evaluate AI-generated responses within your field of expertise for accuracy, depth, rigor, and reasoning quality. Create expert-level prompts, reference answers, and detailed critiques that challenge advanced AI models. Apply academic and research-level rigor to identify subtle errors, unsupported claims, gaps in reasoning, and superficial analysis. Help define expert-level performance standards and evaluation criteria for AI systems.
Preferred Qualifications PhD from a top-ranked university in a technical field, English, literature, journalism, or a closely related discipline.
Based in an English-speaking country.Excellent written English, with the ability to explain complex academic and technical concepts clearly and precisely.
Compensation StructureCompensation is hourly, with experts paid for approved hours worked in accordance with project requirements and quality standards.
