Job Summarymicro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to engage experienced journalists, editors, and writers from reputable publications for high-impact AI training and evaluation projects. In this role, you'll apply your editorial expertise to evaluate AI-generated content against professional newsroom standards and create high-quality reference work that helps define excellent writing. This is hands-on editorial work focused on clarity, accuracy, structure, tone, and style.

Scope of Work Evaluate AI-generated writing for quality, accuracy, tone, structure, and adherence to professional editorial standards. Write and edit high-quality reference pieces that establish benchmarks for excellent AI-generated content. Provide detailed editorial feedback, revisions, and rewrites to improve model-generated writing. Help develop and refine writing standards and evaluation criteria for AI systems.

Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as an editor, writer, or journalist at a reputable publication, such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Reuters, or a comparable organization, with at least part of this experience within the past 7 years.

Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university.Based in an English-speaking country. Exceptional command of written English, with strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.

Compensation StructureCompensation is hourly, with experts paid for approved hours worked in accordance with project requirements and quality standards.
